Well it has been a few weeks and decided I haven't written much. Last week I decided to paint my bedroom, I had painted it right after Alycia was born to a green, actually an ugly green, so 4 years ago. I finally decided I was ready to paint it again. So I tackled that last week, and now have my bathroom to do. I so love it, looks much warmer and comfortable to me.
Labor day, Ed had the day off so we decided we would spend it together having fun, we went to Cody Park which is a cool park here that has so much to do, and Ed and the boys played Frisbee golf while I took Alycia and Zach on the playground. Then afterwards we went and played some tennis, I stink compared to Ed as he Lettered in that in High school and all, but it was fun and I worked up a sweat After that we walked over to the concession stand and got ice cream cones and let the kids ride on the rides there. It was a fun time. After the park we decided to go visit some friends that live out of town about 10 miles and who are building a house. Ed help him in building the house while I kept kids out of the trenches and played on the trampoline with them and all that fun stuff. So was a nice relaxed Labor day.
I have to tell you the garden is in full bloom and doing well, today I blanched and froze corn, made stuffed bell peppers and froze them. Also with the garden in harvest comes apple season, Ed has an apple tree at work that we picked and now have all these apples to do something with so have been slicing and freezing, drying and making pie filling. Love making stuff to use at a later time.
I also got the bug this week to reconnect with some old friends and have been having fun with that. Seeing how every ones life turned out after high school and what not, it is interesting.
