COLORADO SPRINGS

We are in CO Springs now, we moved into our home on the 10th of July after much headache. Nothing can go quick and smooth, but we overcame those obstacles and got into our home. It was so nice having movers put things in all the rooms and all I had to do was unpack, if that isn't bad enough. We are all unpacked, but not fully situated. We have been fixing a lot of the things that were wrong with the house. We have a kitchen sink now, and knobs on the cupboards, and toilet paper holders, lol, We put fans in and Ed's garage is all organized and his truck is parked in it (toy garage). I decided I didn't want to decorate till I painted. So this week i got the painting bug, On Monday I painted Tyler and Zach's room, after I did that it was still early in the day so i did Alycias bathroom, I must have over done it that day cause Tuesday I finished Tyler's room the green part and cleaned up, and then was lazy rest of day, lol. So today I did the office (we are using it for a guest/craft room, so nice to have some color and not just white even though I just did a light tan lol. Funny thing is that this house has lots of COLOR and needs to be changed, but the rooms I painted were all white, trying to get the kids rooms done so they are happy, one done 2 to go, lol. We got the swing set put up last Sat and the kids are so excited to have that up, they play on it all the time. I guess CO Springs doesn't usually get very much rain so I am told, but since we have been here it has rained almost everyday and sometimes more than one storm each day. I am loving it as I now have to pay to water my yard, lol. We planted grass in the front yard about 2 weeks ago and there are tiny shoots, i am so excited I go out and look at them everyday, more and more of them all the time. Josh turned 12 on the 27th and went to his first mutral activity last night, and met some nice boys, hope he makes friends soon, he also went to 7th grade orientation and got his schedule and all that fun stuff.
