Ed had this really great idea to buy a car on ebay without seeing it. It was in New York, so Bonnie and Ed flew to Newark, New Jersey and then drove to where the car was. After we picked up the car it was already having issues. It would stall everytime we stopped. After a while it was harder to start up again. We drove south to Washington DC so we could see some of the sites, we got to see the monument, white house and some other things. Once we were in DC the car really wasnt working well. We eventually got it to an auto parts store and found out we had burned up the starter and we replaced the spark plugs, we were thinking it was water in the gas. After we got those fixed with help from some nice guys with tools, we started on our way towards the temple. What a beautiful temple, it was closed by the time we got there so we didnt get to go into the visitor center but we still got to see the pretty temple. Then we continued on our way, but never made it outside of Maryland before the car refused to run, we were also getting a snow storm. We slept in the car and then the next day slowly coasted to a Nissan dealership about 20 miles in the direction we had just come. We were blessed that they had the part, it was the cadilidic converter that caused all these problems. Once that was fixed we were on our way home and traveled without any problems. It was a crazy trip and super fast, but we enjoyed being together even if it was stressful at time.
